Our surgeons are among the leaders in the field of laser vision correction, and include Dr. David Edmison, Founder and Medical Director of Focus Eye Centre; Dr. John Cheung, Kingston Medical Director and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Queen’s University; and Dr. Claude Menard, Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Centre Hospitalier des Vallées de l’Outaouais in Gatineau, Québec. At Focus we believe that an informed patient is the best patient, which is why we encourage all prospective patients to call for a free, no obligation consultation and see what their laser vision correction options may be. If you are from out of town, we can arrange for your consultation to take place in your area. To book a free consultation, please call: Kingston: You can also e-mail us at info@focuseye.com and our Education Coordinator will contact you. It is a good idea to have your prescription handy when you call because we can tell you immediately if it falls within the parameters of the procedure. We can usually book the consultation within the same week of your call and surgery within one to two weeks. For people from out of town, it is a good idea to call at least a couple weeks in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your schedule and confirm necessary follow-up. |
